Our approach to AI

AI with a sense of proportion – and in line with the GDPR

AI is a tool, not an end in itself. Before we use a model, we check whether it really solves your problem better – and if so, how it can be operated in compliance with data protection law.

The problem first, then the technology

Many tasks can be solved more reliably, cheaply and transparently with conventional software – with clear rules, clean interfaces or well-made automation. We tell you openly when AI is not the best choice.

  • An honest assessment during analysis: AI, conventional software or a combination of both
  • AI where it is measurably better – for example with unstructured text, documents or speech
  • Rule-based logic where results must be exact, traceable and auditable

Privacy-compliant from the start

When we use AI, we design the solution so that personal and confidential data stays protected – technically and organisationally.

  • Providers processing data in the EU with a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR – or open-source models on your own servers
  • Data minimisation: personal data is pseudonymised or removed before it reaches a model
  • Your data is never used to train third-party models

About us

cassida.io is a software development and AI consulting company based in Berlin.

We work for mid-sized companies that need software or AI solutions but do not want to – or cannot – build their own development department. We take on technical responsibility – from the initial analysis to live operation.

For each project we put together the right team from our network of experienced developers. The collaboration is well established, the quality standards are defined together – and you have one dedicated contact who is responsible for the project.
